Our platform is aimed at young mountain bikers. According to Art. 8 GDPR, the processing of personal data of children under 16 years of age requires the explicit consent of the holders of parental responsibility (parents/guardians). Users under 16/18 years of age confirm during registration that this permission is available. Without this permission, creating a profile is prohibited.

We use your email address for security-relevant system notifications. If you change your password or email address, we generate cryptographic confirmation tokens that are temporarily stored and sent to you as a link via email. We use secure TLS/SSL systems for sending emails.

5. Who Sees My Data?

The data you publicly enter in the Dashboard (e.g. images, Instagram links, Bike-Checks, Marketplace items) are accessible publicly worldwide via your personal your-mtb.com profile views. Your registration email (for login) or encrypted password are never publicly visible unless you enter your email in the "Public Contact Email" field yourself.

6. Your Rights & Storage Duration

You have the right to information, correction, or deletion of your data (Right to be forgotten) at any time. If you delete your account or send us an email, all images and database entries uploaded by you will be completely and without residue removed from our servers.
