Terms and Conditions

§1 Scope & Subject Matter

These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to the use of the free platform Your-MTB (hereinafter referred to as the "Platform"). The Platform offers users the opportunity to create a personal MTB profile page (subdomain), publish content such as "Bike-Checks", "Rider Blogs/Magazines", "Tours", and "Marketplace Announcements", and link social media accounts (incl. WhatsApp & Discord).

§2 Eligibility & Minors (Under 18 Years)

The Platform is primarily aimed at young mountain bikers. By registering, users under 18 years of age explicitly confirm that they have the consent of their legal representatives (parents/guardians) to use this service and create a public profile. The Platform operator reserves the right to permanently block the account in case of doubt regarding the consent.

§3 Responsibility for Content & Imprint Duty

The user is solely responsible for all content published by him (images, texts, links). He guarantees that he has all necessary copyrights. The Platform operator provides the technical infrastructure but does not adopt the user's content as its own. When using the subdomain for business purposes, the user is responsible for including a legally valid imprint of their own.

§4 Special Features of the Marketplace

The "Marketplace" integrated on the Platform serves exclusively as a digital "bulletin board". The Platform acts neither as a buyer, seller, nor agent. Any communication, purchase transaction, payment, and liability regarding the offered items (e.g. MTB parts) take place exclusively externally and directly between the parties. The Platform operator is not liable for fraud, defective goods, or services not provided by other users.

§5 Account Security & Email Communication

By registering, the user agrees to receive system-relevant emails (e.g. confirmation links for email changes, password resets, or security warnings). The user is obliged to keep his access data secret. Changes to email address or password only take effect after verification via a security token sent to the stored email.

§6 Termination, Account Deletion & Abuse

The user can delete his profile account at any time. The Platform operator reserves the right to delete accounts and subdomains without notice and with immediate effect in case of a violation of these Terms (e.g. uploading illegal, racist, pornographic, or offensive content). Violations can be reported via the "Report Abuse" function.

§7 Changes to the Terms

The Platform operator reserves the right to change these Terms. The changed conditions will be announced to the user in due time.
